Open Badges are issued through The Open Group’s badging partner, Credly. While badges are designed to be shareable, you have full control over whether your badge—and any associated personal information—is visible to others.
Managing Badge Privacy
If you prefer not to make your badge public, you can adjust your privacy settings directly in your Credly account.
Credly allows you to control:
- Whether your badge is publicly visible
- What personal information is displayed
- How your profile appears to others
You remain in complete control of your badge visibility at all times.
