Overview
The TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Leader certification credential is assessed through a structured, online assessement within The Open Group Learning Management System. The assessment is closed book and must be taken using the Safe Exam Browser software.
Assessment Structure
The exam consists of 30 questions in a mixed‑format structure designed to evaluate both knowledge and applied reasoning:
- 19 simple multiple‑choice questions
- 7 short scenario‑based questions
- 3 cause‑and‑effect questions
- 1 assertion–reason question
Each question type contributes a different number of points, for a total of 44 possible points.
Passing Score
To pass the assessment, you must achieve:
- 31 or more points out of 44
- This represents a passing threshold of greater than 70%
Time Allowed
You will have:
- 45 minutes to complete the assessment
This time limit is fixed and applies to all candidates.
