Overview
Open Book exams provide reference material directly within the exam environment. This article explains how that material is displayed.
Display Format
- The reference material is provided as a PDF file
- It is displayed using a built‑in PDF reader within the exam interface
- At Pearson VUE test centers, exam delivery is conducted over the internet, so loading times may vary
Viewing Tips
Due to monitor size and resolution limitations:
- You may need to use the magnification/zoom controls in the PDF reader to enlarge diagrams or small text
- Some exams may include more than one PDF file, each accessible via its own REFERENCE button
