Overview
If you attempt to register for an ESL (English as a Second Language) version of an exam in Pearson VUE and see the message “price not found,” this indicates that you are not automatically eligible for the ESL exam option. This article explains why this occurs and what to do next.
Why You See “Price Not Found”
ESL exam versions are only available to candidates who:
- Reside in a designated ESL country, and
- Plan to take the exam in that same ESL country
If you do not meet both conditions, Pearson VUE will not display a price for the ESL exam, and registration cannot proceed.
What This Means
- If no price is listed, you are not eligible by default for the ESL exam route.
- You may still be eligible for ESL time accommodations through a manual request process (see the ESL Time Allowance KB article), but you cannot register for the ESL‑coded exam directly.
