Overview
If your certificate displays missing or incorrect information—such as a blank name, an incorrect certification date (for example, showing 1970), or other anomalies—this is usually caused by a short delay in transferring your certification data to the certificate generator.
Why This Happens
After your exam result is processed, it can take a little time for your certification details to synchronize with the certificate generation system. Viewing your certificate before this transfer is complete may result in incomplete or placeholder information.
What to Do
- Wait 30 minutes, then try viewing or downloading your certificate again.
- In most cases, the correct information will appear once the data transfer is complete.
If the Issue Persists
If your certificate still shows incorrect or missing information after waiting:
- Please contact The Open Group Help Desk for assistance.
- Include your Candidate ID and a brief description of the issue to help expedite resolution.
