Overview
Pearson’s OnVUE online‑proctored exams are strictly monitored to ensure exam integrity. Because of this, candidates must remain in their testing environment for the entire duration of the exam.
Are Bathroom Breaks Allowed?
No. Bathroom breaks are not permitted during an OnVUE online‑proctored exam.
Once the exam begins, you are not allowed to leave the room for any reason. Leaving your workspace will result in your exam session being terminated by the proctor.
Need the Option to Take a Break?
If you anticipate needing a restroom break or any other type of interruption during your exam, we strongly recommend scheduling your exam at a Pearson test center instead.
Test centers offer:

- A controlled environment without the strict room‑stay requirements of OnVUE
