Overview
All scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and delivery‑mode changes for The Open Group exams are managed by Pearson VUE. If you need to switch from an OnVUE online‑proctored exam to a test center appointment—or simply reschedule your existing OnVUE exam—you must do so through your Pearson VUE account.
How to Reschedule or Change Delivery Mode
1. Cancel Your Existing Appointment
To make any changes, including switching from OnVUE to a test center:
- Log in to your Pearson VUE account
(accessible via The Open Group Take Exam page) - Go to Upcoming Appointments
- Select your scheduled exam
- Choose Cancel
Important:
You must cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled exam time.
If you cancel late or miss your appointment, your exam fee or voucher may be forfeited.
2. Schedule a New Exam
Once the cancellation is complete:
- Return to your Pearson VUE dashboard
- Select the exam you wish to take
- Choose your preferred delivery mode:
- OnVUE online‑proctored exam, or
- Test center appointment
Follow the prompts to complete your new booking.
Who Manages These Changes?
All certification exam registrations, cancellations, rescheduling, and delivery‑mode changes are handled exclusively by Pearson VUE, the official exam provider for The Open Group.
