Pearson manages all exam registration, scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, payments, and exam delivery on behalf of The Open Group. In some countries, Pearson does not accept credit card payments. This article explains your options if you live in one of those regions.
Countries Where Credit Card Payment Is Not Accepted
Pearson does not accept credit card payments in the following countries (correct at the time of writing):
- Afghanistan
- Bangladesh
- Benin
- Cameroon
- Gambia
- Ghana
- Lebanon
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Senegal
- Tanzania
- Togo
- Uganda
If you reside in one of these countries, you will need to arrange an alternative payment method.
How to Pay for Your Exam
Candidates in the countries listed above may arrange payment directly with the Test Center where they plan to take the exam.
Because Pearson delivers The Open Group exams through a third‑party channel, each Test Center sets its own payment policies. Most centers in these regions are familiar with this limitation and can assist you with acceptable local payment options.
