If you need to cancel or reschedule your exam appointment, you can do so directly through your Pearson VUE online account. This article explains where to find the options and what to expect after making changes.
How to Cancel or Reschedule an Exam

Log in to your Pearson VUE account.
You can access it by selecting Step 2 at the bottom of the exam registration page. -
Locate your scheduled exam.
Your upcoming exam appointments will appear on your Pearson VUE dashboard. -
Open the exam details.
Click on the exam you wish to change. -
Find the reschedule or cancel options.
In the Description panel on the right side of the page, near Order Information, you will see links to:- Reschedule
- Cancel

Confirm your changes.
After completing the process, Pearson VUE will send you an email confirmation verifying that your exam has been successfully rescheduled or canceled.
Pearson VUE Reschedule Policy (Test Center Delivery)
If you need to reschedule your exam at a test center:
- You must reschedule at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment **.
- Missing your appointment, will result in forfeiting your exam fees.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email after rescheduling, log back into your Pearson VUE account to verify the status of your appointment.
Pearson VUE Cancellation Policy (Test Center Delivery)
If you need to cancel your exam at a test center:
- You must cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
- Missing your appointment, will result in forfeiting your exam fees.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email after canceling, log back into your Pearson VUE account to verify the status of your appointment.
Pearson VUE OnVUE Reschedule and Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel your OnVUE exam:
- You must reschedule or cancel before your scheduled appointment, and we recommend you do that no later than 2 hours before.
- Missing your appointment, will result in forfeiting your exam fees.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email after rescheduling or canceling, log back into your Pearson VUE account to verify the status of your appointment.
