How Do I Register to Take an Exam at a Pearson Test Center?

Overview

All of The Open Group certification exams are delivered through Pearson. To take an exam at a Pearson test center, you must register and schedule your appointment through the Pearson portal linked from The Open Group website.

How to Register and Schedule Your Exam

1. Visit the Take Exam Page 
   Go to The Open Group’s Take Exam page. This page provides the correct workflow to:
   • Register for an exam
   • Log in to your Pearson account
   • Access the scheduling portal
2. Follow the Workflow to Pearson 
   The Take Exam page will redirect you to the Pearson portal for The Open Group.
3. Schedule Your Exam 
   Once logged in:
   • Select your exam
   • Choose a Pearson test center
   • Pick your preferred date and time
   • Confirm your appointment

You will receive an email confirmation once your exam is successfully scheduled. If you do not receive a confirmation email, log back into your Pearson account to verify the status of your appointment.

Pearson Reschedule Policy

If you need to reschedule your exam:

• You must reschedule at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• Rescheduling less than 48 hours before your exam, or missing your appointment, will result in forfeiting your exam fees.
• If you do not receive a confirmation email, log back into your Pearson account to verify the status of your appointment.

If you need to cancel your exam:

• You must cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
