What Behaviours Count as Exam Misconduct?
Misconduct can take many forms. Below are common examples that undermine the fairness and credibility of certification exams.
Cheating and Questionable Test Behaviour
Activities such as:
- Capturing or sharing exam content
- Copying answers
- Using prohibited electronic devices during testing
Proxy Testing Solicitation
Attempts to recruit someone else to take an exam on a candidate’s behalf.
This can occur:
- At test centers
- Through social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, and others
Use of Brain Dumps
This includes:
- Candidates using brain dump materials
- Trainers or training organizations recommending or distributing brain dumps
