If you received an exam voucher as part of an accredited training course, it is important to understand the terms and conditions that apply. These rules ensure proper use of the voucher and help avoid issues when scheduling your certification exam.
General Terms and Conditions
Unless otherwise stated on the voucher itself, the following terms apply to all The Open Group exam vouchers:
- Voucher Expiration
Each voucher has a specific expiration date.
You must register for and take your exam before this date. - No Extensions
Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended under any circumstances. - Single Exam Use
Each voucher may be redeemed for one certification exam at an authorized testing center or via approved delivery methods. - Exam‑Specific Validity
Some vouchers are valid only for specific exams.
Always ensure you are redeeming the voucher for the correct exam. - No Replacement for Expired, Lost, or Stolen Vouchers
These vouchers will not be reissued. - No Cash Value
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or refunds. - Cannot Be Applied Retroactively
Vouchers cannot be used for exams that have already been taken. - Not Transferable Between Programs
A voucher issued for one program cannot be used for another.
